Over the years we have developed a relationship with funeral directors in the area who are happy to ask us to help families through their time of loss.
Often folks have no idea who to turn to at this time. They often have no church connection and are left wondering who could take a funeral service and need help in the planning. It is the greatest privilege to be allowed to serve the community in this way. Currently, Norman Daniels – for many years a part of the leadership team at Poplars until he recently retired from that role – takes on most of this work. Pete Hardy also steps in from time to time.
Funerals are individually planned to meet requirements and sensitively officiated. If you find yourself in need of help, or know someone else who is, you can contact Norman on 01909 730801 or alternatively contact the church office.
